Minimally representing historical Korean Clock
As a creative coding project, I recreated a historical Korean water clock named ‘Ja-Gyeok-Ru’ into minimal graphic clock. The water clock had 12 Chinese Zodiac animal dolls popping out from a hole every hour, and had bell, drum and Jing to indicate different time parameters. To recreate that I created 3D graphics of the 12 animals and the percussions and coded to indicate different time parameters through javaScript. The animals change every minute, the bell, drum and jing each rings every hour, minute and second.
